Philadelphia Chalk Festival 2020 Seeks Artists for November 14th Event

Artist Submission Deadline – October 23, 2020

Festival Date – November 14, 2020 from 12pm – 8pm

The Philadelphia Chalk Festival seeks artists submissions for it’s first annual street painting festival. Artists are asked to submit applications and design concepts to be created for a one-day outdoor festival taking place in the Fishtown/Kensington area of Philadelphia.

Selected artists will receive a $300 stipend and the supplies necessary to create their temporary mural. Artists will be assigned their mural location and featured on The Philadelphia Chalk Festival webpage and festival map. The festival provides a much-needed paid opportunity to artists who have lost work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applicants must submit a short artist biography, a design concept, relevant work samples, and any references by October 23 to be reviewed by festival team, partners, and sponsors. Artists must be Philadelphia residents and 18 years or older to apply.

Artists can find more information and submit applications at:
